Keep the Senate Blue!
We currently have a razor-thin Senate majority.
Democrats are defending 23 seats of the 34 seats up for election. That’s a tough map. Since Joe Manchin is retiring, West Virginia moves into the solid Republican category (for now), and the margin for error becomes zero. To keep the Senate, we’ve got to hold onto every single other blue seat or score an upset in a red state like Texas, Florida, or Nebraska.
You all know that Indivisible WA8 likes to stay laser-focused here in the 8th, but we always keep our longer term goals in mind – codifying reproductive freedom, passing much-needed democracy reform and fixing the Supreme Court. We need the Senate to make that happen.
Tomorrow, we will be 5 weeks away from Election Day. Finding even a couple of hours to volunteer in these key swing states that will be razor close can make all the difference!!
Register Democrats to Vote in Battleground States
Field Team 6 is doing partisan voter registration in battleground states and flippable districts. Click here to find a Zoom meeting with a volunteer host who will train you how to make calls. Indivisible National sent us these great yard signs that need a home!
Research shows that seeing daily support for a candidate boosts people’s comfort and confidence in voting for them. Put simply, people are influenced by YOUR actions and endorsements. By showing your support, you inspire others, persuading them more effectively than TV ads or mail.
If you’d like a sign, fill out this google form. If we have more people than signs, we’ll do a drawing. Signs will need to be picked up in Sammamish – more details will follow in a direct email after the drawing.
