Defend Washington from Bad Initiatives

Plus mark your calendar for Saturday’s meeting!

Washington faces a direct threat from FOUR deceptive and dangerous ballot initiatives—sponsored by one of Washington’s most extreme politicians and funded by hedge fund mogul Brian Heywood, who spent more than $6 million to buy his slate of measures onto the ballot.

These initiatives aim to undo a decade’s worth of progress on educational funding, efforts to protect and clean our air and water, and provide care for seniors and the most vulnerable. We can’t let that happen.

MAGA Republicans keep losing elections in our state, but with Heywood’s money, they’re aiming to roll back achievements enacted by our state Democratic majorities in Olympia.

Heywood is trying to give himself, his ultra-rich friends, and corporations a massive tax cut at the expense of a healthier Washington. We shouldn’t let him buy his way into reducing his tax bill or slash funding to our education and health programs, and put our air and water – and so much more – at risk.

What is clear: The initiatives were written to be misleading. The sponsors don’t want us to know what their initiatives really do and their deceptive advertising and self-serving agenda will harm families and our communities.
