Thanks to all who came out April 5th!

Indivisibles, our HandsOff! rally in Issaquah was an amazing experience, organized by our team of new activists who put this event together in under two weeks! Over 1,000 people came together and lined Front Street like Issaquah has never seen! We joined millions across the country to stand up against the dismantling of our government so the rich can get richer.

On April 5th, we sent a historically big message to Trump, Musk, and the GOP — and we also sent a signal to all those who agree with us but who have spent the last few months feeling shaken, hopeless, and afraid. On April Five, America Came Alive. The fight back has begun.

Keep taking action

The Fight Against Tariffs
Call to thank Senator Cantwell for fighting back on tariffs and setting trade policies.

On Thursday, Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-WA) and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) introduced the Trade Review Act of 2025, which would reestablish limits on the president’s ability to impose unilateral tariffs without Congressional approval. Read more here.

Even though this is a good reform bill for “next time” – Indivisible National is calling for more action. Read the explainer here.

Congress has the tools. If they don’t act, it’s not because they couldn’t. It’s because they wouldn’t. Let’s make them act.

Protect Federal Library Funding
Call Rep Schrier, Senator Cantwell and Senator Murray and urge them to protect federal funding for libraries by preventing the dismantling of the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
On Friday, March 14, President Trump issued an executive order attempting to dismantle the only federal agency dedicated to funding library services, the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). Millions of people rely every day on library services and programs supported by IMLS.
