Mass Mobilization April 5th!
Indivisible WA-8 and our community friends will unite to participate in the national ‘Hands Off!’ day of action. This event is part of a coordinated effort across all 50 states to protest actions by President Donald Trump and Elon Musk which are undermining our democracy and disrupting essential government services. This mass mobilization is our message to the world that we do not consent to the destruction of our government and our economy for the benefit of Trump and his billionaire allies.
Nationwide, the over 800 protests will respond to Trump administration policies detrimental to public welfare, including cuts to healthcare, data privacy concerns, job security threats, and the suspension of vital government services. Organizers emphasize the urgency of collective action to safeguard democratic institutions and public resources. Here in Washington, over 30 events will take place in cities large and small across Washington state including Gig Harbor, Olympia, Sequim, Spokane, Ellensburg, Seattle, and many more. This is expected to be the largest single-day protest since the Women’s March in January, 2017.
Join the Pre-event Mass Call April 1st
Ahead of the day of action, coalition organizations are holding a mass call with Rahna Epting (MoveOn), Randi Weingarten (American Federation of Teachers), Ezra Levin (Indivisible) as well as members of Congress to make sense of the Trump Administration’s unprecedented power grabs.

Join us on Wednesday, April 2nd from 10:30 to 12:20 in Issaquah for a fun and inspiring Sign-Making Party in support of our April 5th Hands Off! Rally.
Bring your the passion and creativity, and we’ll provide all the supplies. Let’s create some powerful visuals and ensure we have plenty of extra signs for those who don’t have spare time during the week!
