Let’s WIN this.

With 8 days to go, folks like Leah and Ezra keep saying “I would much rather be us than them. Let’s keep doing more and worrying less, and go out and win this thing, together!”

It’s great advice that we all need to lean into!

By choosing 1-2 things to do in the next 8 days and you’ll know you’ve done all you can to get to the results we all want!

How to Help in Swing States

We’ve known for months now that seven states will determine the next president: NV, AZ, WI, MI, PA, GA, NC. And, we know that each of those battleground states is too close to call based on available data. The polls are uncertain and will remain so — of that we can be definitely be certain.

  • Personal contact from people we know makes all the difference. This is the time to reach out to everyone you know in those states to make sure they are voting. It can be as simple as making a quick catch up call, text or email simply asking if they’ve voted yet. You can also use this tool to find them Swing State friends on Facebook and message them to see if they’ve voted yet.
  • Ballot curing in states that have had early voting. Here are opportunities to do that in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Arizona.
Watching the Lands Commissioner race come down to 49 votes during the primary means that we know what a difference fixing ballot errors can make. Races in swing states may come down to a handful of votes in each precinct so this is a great way to spend your volunteer time.
  • Phonebank with the Harris-Walz Organizing Team! Phone Banks start almost every hour on the hour! Don’t worry if you’ve never made phone calls with a campaign before, they’ll walk you through every step of the way.
  • Donate to  Ruben Gallego/Arizona or Anderson Clayton and the North Carolina Dems. We need to keep working to create that second pathway to 270 in case any of MI, PA, WI don’t happen for us.

How to Help Here in Washington

Here in our Congressional district we know that our blue state is actually purple and we can’t take anything for granted. Let’s make sure our friends are voting for candidates that share our values up and down the ticket!

How to Help Yourself!

As we head toward election day, we’re likely to feel more and more anxiety around how things are going to end up so sign up for the Election Eve Coffee Chat with Leah & Ezra on November 4th@ 12pm PT.

They’ll discuss what they’ve been seeing on the campaign trail, how they plan to watch returns come in, and what to expect after the election. Hopefully, they can help you take a breath and inspire you to go out and do one more phone bank or one more canvass in the last 36 hours of the election.

Keep working hard, all.
Let’s bring it home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
